Database Administrator - Senior

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Database Administrator - Senior based in the United States.

• This senior technical role will serve as the hands-on owner of Oracle database environments supporting a mission-critical federal financial system.
• You will be responsible for keeping databases secure, performant, available, and fully recoverable across development, testing, training, disaster recovery, and production environments.
• The role combines daily database administration with performance tuning, security hardening, backup and recovery, middleware management, and operational monitoring.
• You will act as a key escalation point for complex production issues that could affect critical payment and financial operations.
• The position also requires close adherence to federal security, change-control, service-level, and documentation requirements.
• Although primarily remote, the role includes occasional onsite support in Washington, DC, and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
