Day Line Worker

About the Role

As a Day Shift Line Worker at The Ziegenfelder Company, you’ll play a key role in our production process, ensuring our frozen novelties meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and are committed to maintaining excellence in every task.

Essential Functions

• •Place sealed individual units into packaging and ensure proper sealing
• •Repackage products that are improperly sealed or coded
• •Dispose of scrap products and raw materials appropriately
• •Maintain a clean and organized work area
• •Comply with all federal, state, local, and company environmental, health, and safety policies

Qualifications

• •High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
• •Prior experience in food service or production preferred
• •Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical Requirements

• •Stand for up to 8 hours per shift
• •Regularly move and lift items up to 50 lbs.
• •Perform bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping motions
• •Work safely around manufacturing equipment with good spatial awareness

Working Conditions

Exposure to noise levels above 85 decibels (hearing protection provided)

Compensation & Benefits

• •Starting Pay: $17.00/hour
• •Schedule: 40 hours per week with consecutive set days off
• •Benefits: Begin on the first day after 60 days of employment
