Position Overview: -

We are seeking a talented and experienced Database Developer lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in database development, with a strong understanding of database design principles, SQL programming, and data modeling. The Database Developer lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions to support our organization's data needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• •Design, develop, and maintain relational databases for various applications and systems within the organization.
• •Perform database tuning and optimization to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• •Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support application development and data retrieval.
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design database solutions that meet business needs.
• •Perform data modeling to design logical and physical database structures.
• •Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data.
• •Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly.
• •Document database design, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• •Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• •7-10 years of experience in database development.
• •Proficiency in SQL programming and experience with relational database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• •Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling techniques.
• •Experience with database tuning, optimization, and performance monitoring.
• •Knowledge of database security best practices.
• •Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• •Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• •Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• •Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
• •Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
• •Knowledge of cloud-based database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
• •Certification in database administration or development is a plus.
