Job Description & Summary

Description

We’re a team trusted to shape the biggest moves in business. We look for those who lead with precision when the stakes are high - bold, sharp, and decisive minds behind every successful move.

SHAPING TOMORROW

Make a real impact, today, and tomorrow, through work that matters. Here, you will tackle today’s toughest challenges with a future-focused mindset; so our clients turn to us first when it matters most.

Make a real impact

In this dynamic environment, we are looking for a seasoned and commercially astute Senior Manager to join our Deals & Strategy, Fraud & Forensics team in Athens. You’ll lead high-impact engagements, drive strategic growth, and shape the direction of the practice, all while mentoring the next generation of forensics professionals and redefining what’s possible.

The Deals & Strategy Fraud and Forensics team offers services designed to help organisations manage risks related to fraud, disputes, and other critical events and emerge stronger. Our offerings include conducting fraud investigations, enhanced by eDiscovery and advanced data analytics, to identify fraudulent activities and efficiently collect digital evidence. Additionally, we specialise in dispute resolution, encompassing commercial and M&A disputes, as well as claim support. This includes calculating damages to strengthen or counter legal claims and providing expert testimony in legal proceedings.

As part of our team, you will:

Leading and overseeing multiple project teams towards the efficient and timely delivery of high-profile and sensitive assignments, including:

  • Leading and overseeing a diverse portfolio of engagements across the full range of Forensics service offerings, including forensic investigations (e.g. financial statement fraud, asset misappropriation, procurement fraud, bribery and corruption, anti-competitive behaviour) and Special Reviews; eDiscovery procedures covering the acquisition, processing and review of electronically stored information; Quantification of Damages / Loss of Profit and Claims; Non-Permitted Leakage and Completion Accounts Reviews post-closing in M&A Transactions; and the review and analysis of business plans, forecasts, estimates and presenting findings as a Financial Expert witness in Disputes / Arbitrations.
  • Overseeing and participating end-to-end in the service delivery of multiple engagements, including managing senior client relationships, defining, delegating and supervising tasks, monitoring engagement workstreams, timelines and budgets, and ensuring deliverables adhere to the firm’s quality standards and risk management policies. The role demands strong technical expertise, hands-on involvement in the work, and actively educating, coaching and teaching junior staff with less experience on how to perform the work and draft reports
  • Directing and strategising the approach and methodology for complex engagements within the context of each case and engagement’s needs, to produce a clear, well-structured, focused and targeted scope of services to be offered, bringing clarity to both the client and the delivery team
  • Managing and resolving sensitive, demanding and often complex client situations with composure and sound judgment
  • Demonstrating a sound risk management understanding, strong adherence to risk management policies and the ability to proactively identify and escalate issues
  • Demonstrating creative thinking and designing hypothesis-based approaches to solving important problems
  • Leading client interviews, managing senior stakeholder relationships and chairing project steering meetings
  • Building and maintaining long-lasting, trust-based relationships with senior client stakeholders, internal leadership and external peers, and acting as a key point of contact for the practice
  • Acting as a role model and people leader – developing, mentoring and coaching managers and junior staff, and being accountable for their career growth, performance and development
  • Driving collaboration with PwC Fraud and Forensics specialists across the global PwC network, leading cross-border engagements and leveraging the firm’s international capabilities
  • Leading and originating business development activities, including the development and execution of go-to-market strategies, proposals, pitch presentations and thought leadership materials
  • Shaping the strategic direction of the practice, spearheading product development efforts and representing the Forensics practice in external forums, industry events and client workshops
  • Being a driver for change, championing the adoption of new technologies, data analytics tools and innovative approaches that enhance service delivery
