If you are hired, you will be...

• •Creating an all-around enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.
• •Welcoming and greeting customers when entering or leaving the store.
• •Listening to customers to gain a thorough understanding of what they need.
• •Recommending, slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing deli items.
• •Preparing special orders, take-out items, and party trays.
• •Updating displays, cases and other customer-facing areas.
• •Confirming that all displays, products, and services comply with company standards.
• •Following all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• •Ensuring work areas are clean and ready to service customers.
• •Cooperating with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
• •Help lead and motivate the deli department team.
• •Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A few things you’ll need…

• •Candidates must be 18+ years or older
• •Complete a pre-employment background check
• •Ability to lift heavy items, ranging from 25 to 50 lbs.
• •Food Worker Card

These qualifications will help you stand out

• •Good communication and interpersonal skills
• •High level of energy with strong customer service skills
• •3 years previous deli counter or food preparation experience (preferred)
