Delivery Truck Driver (Class 1/3/5)

We are currently seeking a motivated Full-time Delivery Truck Driver who holds a valid Class 1, 3 or 5 licence to operate out of our Nanaimo, BC branch. If you are committed to exceptional customer service, thrive in a team environment, and enjoy working efficiently, we want you on our team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

This role goes beyond traditional driving. As a Class 1, 3 or 5 Delivery Truck Driver, you will be responsible for:

• •Operating automatic trucks with power tailgate/railgate for direct store delivery.
• •Loading trucks in the warehouse before departure.
• •Conducting safe and efficient deliveries and pickups following designated routes.
• •Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers on each route to understand and address their needs.
• •Performing pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of company-owned vehicles.
• •Assisting with product and warehouse security.
• •Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting (up to 50lbs).

Available Shift(s):

Full-Time: 40 hours per week, starting at 7:00 am.

4 Shifts x 10 Hours

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• •Valid Class 1, 3 or 5 License.
• •Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience required.
• •Recent and satisfactory driver abstract.
• •Safety shoes (steel-toed boots).
• •Ability to pass a criminal record check.
• •Valid proof of SIN upon hire.
• •Familiarity with Vancouver Island is an asset, given the local delivery focus.

Pay: $16.00 -$27.50 Hourly
