Description
Belstra Milling Co., a family-owned agricultural business in DeMotte, IN, is seeking a Demand Planner and Resource Analyst to join our supply chain team. Belstra thrives on making quality feed for livestock producers of all sizes. regulations. In addition, this position must work in compliance with all the company policies, local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
- Managing feed manufacturing ERP system
- Analyzing sales, stock, and other data statistics
- Reviewing historical sales trends
- Modeling the data to forecast future demand
- Report generating in ERP system
- Run analysis on various production metrics
- Run analysis for sales monitoring and customer projections
- Space utilization analysis
- Process analysis to find efficiencies and control points
- Learn responsibilities to back up purchase and procurement
- Learn responsibilities to back up inventory control and inventory software
Requirements
Skills and Requirements (included but not limited to):
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong ability to anticipate needs and think proactively
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on effective resolution
- Excellent active listening abilities
- Exceptional time management skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Clear and effective communication skills, both internally and externally
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Relevant certificate or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Prior experience in data analysis or supply chain demand planning
