About the Role
We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented ‘Demand Success Lead’ to join our Marketplace Success team. This role requires a strong blend of programmatic yield optimization expertise, technical acumen, and excellent communication and commercial skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for increasing revenue across a portfolio of programmatic demand partners, including large DSPs and SSPs, and collaborating with yield, ops and publisher success to drive and grow marketplace revenue.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations, onboarding, optimization, and growth of programmatic demand clients, ensuring a high standard of customer service and partner experience.
- Own relationships with demand partners, acting as a trusted point of contact and managing client expectations around performance, delivery, scale, opportunities, and platform capabilities.
- Develop a strong understanding of each partner’s commercial objectives, buying strategy, and performance expectations, and translate these into actionable strategies internally.
- Proactively optimize demand accounts and use data-driven insights to identify opportunities to increase spend, improve yield, and grow the overall commercial value of partnerships.
- Lead regular weekly/monthly business reviews with key demand partners, providing performance insights, discussing opportunities, and agreeing on clear actions to drive growth.
- Generate and analyze monetization reports to identify revenue opportunities, track performance trends, and support partner and internal decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with Yield, Operations, Publisher Success, and other internal teams to execute partner requirements and drive marketplace revenue.
- Coordinate the resolution of ad technology and integration issues with relevant technical teams, ensuring timely communication and clear expectations are maintained with the client.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve client management, reporting, performance analysis, and operational efficiency.
Role Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years in a client-facing programmatic role, with proven experience managing and growing relationships with SSPs, DSPs, and other programmatic partners.
- Strong understanding of Header Bidding, OpenRTB, RTB/PMP, with experience across multiple SSPs, custom Prebid Wrappers, and various ad formats and platforms.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand partnership economics, identify growth opportunities, negotiate effectively, and maximise the value of programmatic relationships.
- Proven ability to manage partner performance, troubleshoot issues, analyse performance trends, and identify opportunities to improve revenue, efficiency, and scale.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience working with complex datasets and Excel (including Macros) to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Strong interest and practical understanding of AI and automation, with the ability to identify, implement, and collaborate on AI-driven solutions that improve analysis, reporting, optimisation, workflows, and operational efficiency.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and highly organised, with a structured approach to problem-solving and the ability to thrive in a small, fast-paced team.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Ambitious and collaborative, with the agility and confidence to challenge the status quo and continuously improve how the team operates.
*This is a fully remote opportunity. We are looking to hire someone ideally based in either New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore.
