Serving as a senior leader within the CHI Treasury organization , the Deputy Treasurer (CHI) is responsible for formulating and executing treasury strategy for the Capsules and Health Ingredients (CHI) business, with overall responsibility for cash and liquidity optimization, banking partner management, financial risk mitigation, and treasury operations.

In this high-impact, strategically essential role, you will lead all treasury activities globally for CHI as a standalone business, establishing and developing its treasury function, including capital structure, financing, liquidity, cash management, governance, and banking relationships as the business transitions to independent ownership.

By driving automation and operational excellence, and establishing effective governance, the Deputy Treasurer enables sound capital decision-making and serves as a key strategic bridge between internal Finance stakeholders and external financial institutions.

What you will do:

Partner with the Treasurer to deliver the global treasury strategy, acting as deputy across treasury operations, governance, transformation initiatives, and risk management.

Drive treasury excellence through automation, process standardisation, system optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead global liquidity management, cash forecasting, working capital optimisation, cash pooling, and intercompany funding activities to ensure efficient use of capital.

Manage banking relationships, treasury infrastructure, and technology platforms while supporting financing activities, debt facilities, guarantees, and letters of credit.

Oversee foreign exchange, interest rate, counterparty, and liquidity risk management, ensuring robust hedging and risk mitigation strategies are in place.

Maintain and enhance treasury policies, controls, governance frameworks, and compliance processes to support regulatory requirements and audit readiness.

Provide leadership and strategic guidance across treasury operations, supporting business growth, financial resilience, and long-term value creation.

What we are looking for:

Partner with the Treasurer to deliver the global treasury strategy, acting as deputy across treasury operations, governance, transformation initiatives, and risk management.

Significant experience in corporate treasury, preferably within a complex, multinational environment.

Demonstrated expertise in cash management, liquidity planning, banking relationships, funding, and financial risk management.

Strong knowledge of treasury systems, controls, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

Proven ability to lead transformation initiatives, drive operational efficiencies, and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.

Strategic, analytical, and commercially minded professional with excellent leadership and communication skills.
