JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Visual Arts department is seeking a skilled and experienced DIMA (Design, Interactivity & Media Arts) Instructor who is positive, supportive, and dynamic to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion and the use of the classroom experiences to enhance workplace understanding and performance. Teach with excellence a full range of Game Design coursework. Participate collaboratively in curriculum review and development, outcomes assessment, advisory council activities, projects, and other department or College activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or related discipline.
- &
- 2 years of FT related occupational experience.
Compensation: $580 per Equivalent Credit Hours (ECH)
- May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and will involve travel to other campuses.
- A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process.
- Hiring process includes passing a background check.
