KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Completions Database Specialist to support the multi-billion-dollar Plaquemines project developing a Liquid Natural Gas export facility when fully developed will have an export capacity of up to 20 million metric tonnes per year.

The Senior Plumbing & Drainage Designer is responsible for preparing and coordinating plumbing, drainage, underground utility, and water supply system designs for Oil & Gas, Industrial, Commercial, and Infrastructure projects. The role involves developing detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, conducting clash checks, preparing MTO/BOQ, and coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and international standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare underground (UG) drainage, sewer, and plumbing water supply layouts.
  • Develop detailed engineering drawings for UG facilities, piping systems, civil infrastructure, roads, paving, cable trenches, pits, and Civil GA drawings.
  • Create 2D drawings using AutoCAD and 3D models using Revit.
  • Perform clash detection and model reviews using Navisworks.
  • Participate in 30%, 60%, and 90% design/model reviews.
  • Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
  • Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Process engineering disciplines.
  • Review client specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
  • Support detailed engineering for oily water sewer systems and contaminated drainage systems.
  • Prepare structural detailing for pipe supports, sleepers, crossovers, platforms, pipe racks, skid foundations, and shelter foundations.
  • Attend client meetings and provide technical clarifications.
  • Support project planning, progress reporting, and design estimation activities.

Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience in Plumbing, Drainage, and Underground Utility Design for industrial and Oil & Gas projects.
  • Oil & Gas, LNG Terminals, Gas Processing Plants and EPC/EPCM Projects
  • Industrial Infrastructure Projects, AutoCAD, Revit Architecture & Plumbing, Navisworks and Microsoft Office Suite
