Developer Senior

Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 8600 W Bryn Mawr Ave, 10th & 11th Fl, Chicago, IL 60631.

Virtual: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Developer Senior is responsible for maintaining active, consultative relationships with business stakeholders to gather requirements and formulating complex technical architectures for large-scale enterprise systems within the Healthcare sectors.

How You Will Make an Impact:

A Full-Stack Development: Expertly codes and maintains complex software components using the .NET ecosystem (Core/Framework) and modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular 5 through 21); classifies intricate change requests and evaluates high-level system enhancements.

System Architecture & Integration: Collaborates with cross-functional development teams to define application scope and objectives; prepares detailed functional and technical specifications for both web-based and Windows-based programming environments.

Database & Data Management: Designs complex, scalable database schemas; writes optimized stored procedures, triggers, and packages; and manages high-volume data transformation (ETL) using SSIS and SSRS.

Leadership & Code Quality: Provides technical mentorship to junior developers on industry coding standards; performs advanced code reviews using tools like CheckMarx to ensure strict adherence to SOLID principles and design patterns.

Testing & Quality Assurance: Develops and executes rigorous system testing protocols; utilizes the NUnit framework to validate results and troubleshoot complex defects identified during the SDLC.

Implementation & Support: Orchestrates integration activities across global IT departments for cloud-based deployments (Azure and Oracle Cloud); provides expert-level on-call support and proactively monitors enterprise systems for deficiencies or performance bottlenecks.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science Management, or related.

Three (3) years in any occupation with experience on one platform.

Experience Requirements:

Three (3) years in any occupation with experience on one platform must include:

Three (3) years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of large-scale applications using C#, .NET Framework (2.0-4.8), .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and VB.NET.

Experience must also include:

Experience developing complex, data-driven web interfaces using Angular (Versions 5 through 21), AngularJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript;

Experience in the Facets healthcare platform, including specialized experience with EDI (837/835) transaction standards and the integration of Claims, Members, and Providers data modules;

Experience in database architecture, stored procedure optimization, and data transformation (ETL) using SQL Server (2005/2008R2/2012), Oracle, SSIS, and SSRS;

Experience architecting and deploying secure web services and APIs, including Web API, WCF (SOAP), and RESTful services for cross-platform system integration;

Cloud platforms including Azure and Oracle Cloud Foundation, and professional-grade version control using Azure DevOps (TFS), GitHub, or Bitbucket;

Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including the application of SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and automated testing/code analysis using NUnit, CheckMarx;

Experience gathering business requirements from stakeholders in the Healthcare sectors and formulating them into detailed technical specifications; and

Experience maintaining active relationships with business stakeholders to gather requirements and formulate complex technical architectures for large-scale enterprise systems in Healthcare.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Oracle Cloud Foundations 2022 and Oracle Cloud Foundations 2021 Certifications
