Knowledge / Skills / Duties
Perform pre-operational and post-operational checks
Assess ground conditions at the face and implement ground control according to site requirements
Safely install appropriate support as per engineered prints, meeting targets
Operate x-lift - bolting, maintain services, load rounds and muck.
Operate jackleg and stopper
Lock-out and tag out as per regulatory bodies and company policy
Teamwork
Work collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals – both within own department and site wide.
Leverage of the talent and knowledge within the team to resolve problems.
Ability to follow instructions and organize when necessary.
Planning & Organisation
Prioritise and complete tasks accurately as to specifications as assigned by direct supervisor within required timeframes.
Proactively identify and address hazards before they arise as issues.
Be punctual to work and all required site meetings.
Undertake other duties as lawfully instructed
