What you’ll be doing

As a Statutory Process Support Officer, you'll provide essential support to the Development & Statutory Process Support Lead, helping coordinate statutory consenting and development activities for major investment projects across SP Transmission. You'll work closely with Project, Planning, Estates and Legal teams to ensure statutory processes, documentation and project milestones are delivered efficiently, compliantly and on time.

  • Supporting the preparation, review and management of statutory and consenting documentation.
  • Coordinating activities across multiple project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of statutory processes.
  • Maintaining accurate records, reports, risks, actions and project data.
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement, consultations, hearings and inquiries.
  • Monitoring project progress and helping identify when statutory processes need to be initiated.
  • Driving continuous improvement through better processes, systems and document management.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Experience managing documentation, records or compliance-related activities.
  • Ability to analyse information, prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of statutory consenting, planning or land processes is desirable.

As a minimum, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience coordinating documentation, processes or projects in a regulated or professional environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
  • Ability to analyse information and produce clear, accurate reports.
