DevOps Engineer Expert

Job Description:

DXC Technology Italy is looking for a DevOps Engineer Expert to join C&I offering.

Responsibilities

• •Install, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters (on-prem or cloud), with end-to-end technical ownership of the platform
• •Manage cluster lifecycle: upgrades, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• •Implement and maintain cluster components such as ingress controllers, storage integrations, and networking plugins
• •Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
• •Automate application deployment workflows, environment provisioning, and repetitive operational tasks using Bash or Python
• •Use Terraform, Helm, and related IaC tools to define and manage infrastructure
• •Deploy and manage monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager), perform root-cause analysis and optimize system performance
• •Collaborate with development teams to support containerization and deployment best practices, acting as direct interface with clients and technical teams
• •Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior/mid team members, contributing to the definition of technical standards and best practices
• •Contribute to the hiring process through technical assessments during interviews

We Require

• •Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration
• •Proficiency with CI/CD tools and pipeline design
• •Solid understanding of container technologies (Docker, containerd)
• •Experience with Terraform, Helm, and GitOps workflows
• •Good scripting skills in Bash or Python
• •Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• •Strong Linux systems engineering background
• •Experience with Generative AI tools is a plus
