About the team:

The Prime Processing DevOps team is responsible for the delivery of the PRIME application across FIS-managed cloud environments and licensed client environments. The team focuses on the CI/CD process that manages the application deployment, using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Argo CD, Jenkins pipelines, and Python.

What you will be doing:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will help automate, build and deploy PRIME across cloud and client environments. You will work with DevOps tools and cloud technologies to improve release delivery, deployment reliability, and operational efficiency.

The key responsibilities of the role will be:

• •Build and maintain CI/CD automation for the PRIME release process.
• •Support PRIME deployments to FIS-managed AWS environments and licensed client environments.
• •Support client-side architecture, application builds, and deployment activities.
• •Work with Kubernetes, Docker, Argo CD and Jenkins pipelines to support application delivery.
• •Develop automation scripts and deployment processes using Python and shell scripting.
• •Collaborate with engineering, release and client-facing teams to deliver reliable PRIME solutions.

While the core responsibilities of the role remain consistent, the scope of assignments, level of autonomy, technical expertise and leadership expectations will vary depending on the level at which the successful candidate is hired.

What you bring:

• •Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• •0-4+ years of experience in DevOps or application development role.
• •Basic understanding of cloud computing, preferably AWS.
• •Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Argo CD, Docker, Jenkins/Groovy pipelines, Python, Git preferably Bitbucket or GitHub.
• •Basic understanding of REST APIs.
• •Experience with shell scripting using Bash and/or PowerShell.

Added bonus if you have:

• •Experience with OpenShift.
• •AWS certification or an equivalent cloud certification.
• •Kubernetes certification (CKA or CKAD).

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is EUR 27,000.00 – EUR 37,000.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
