Kenly 95 Petro's TA Service Center is hiring a Full-Time Diesel Service Advisor to join our evening shift team in Kenly, NC!

Do you enjoy helping customers, solving problems, and keeping things organized in a busy environment?

We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Service Advisor who can communicate effectively with customers and technicians while helping keep our diesel repair shop running smoothly.

As a Diesel Service Advisor, also known as a Service Writer , you'll be the connection between professional truck drivers, fleet customers, and our diesel technicians.

You'll help customers understand their repair needs, coordinate service requests, prepare repair orders, and keep everyone informed throughout the repair process.

Previous diesel experience is helpful, but not required. We're looking for strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Diesel Service Advisor, you'll help provide a smooth, professional customer experience from the time a truck arrives until service is completed.

• •Customer Service: Greet professional drivers and fleet customers, listen to their concerns, and help identify requested services.
• •Repair Orders: Create, update, and maintain accurate repair orders, service requests, and customer records.
• •Service Coordination: Communicate with diesel technicians and shop management to coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance, and workflow.
• •Customer Communication: Provide updates on repair progress, estimated completion times, and service costs.
• •Service Recommendations: Explain recommended repairs and maintenance services based on technician findings and customer needs.
• •Computer & Documentation: Enter service information accurately into shop management systems.
• •Problem-Solving: Address customer questions, resolve concerns, and communicate issues to management when necessary.
• •Team Support: Help keep service operations organized during busy periods.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications:

• •Strong customer service and communication skills.

• •Comfortable using computers and learning service management software.
• •Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering information.
• •Ability to communicate professionally with customers, technicians, and management.
• •Dependable attendance and availability to work the required evening shift.

• •Willingness to learn diesel truck service terminology and repair processes.

Preferred, But Not Required:

• •Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, Automotive Service Advisor, or Customer Service Representative.
• •Experience in automotive repair, diesel truck service, fleet maintenance, or commercial vehicle service.
• •Experience creating repair orders, preparing estimates, or coordinating service appointments.
• •Familiarity with shop management software or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• •Experience working with professional drivers or fleet customers.

No previous diesel service experience is required. Candidates with strong customer service and organizational skills are encouraged to apply!

WORK SCHEDULE

Full-Time | Evening Shift

This position requires evening availability in our busy TA Service Center.

Specific scheduled hours will be discussed during the hiring process.
