ROLE SUMMARY
As a Digital Media Executive , you will work in lockstep with our Digital Centre of Excellence to design, execute, and optimize high-impact, multi-channel digital media campaigns. This is a highly analytical, data-driven, and fast-paced role requiring a blend of creative problem-solving and rigorous financial discipline. You will be responsible for translating client business objectives into high-performing media strategies, managing budgets with precision, and maximizing ROI across all paid digital channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Digital Media Strategy & Execution
Strategic Support: Partner with the Digital Media Manager to build and present robust, data-backed media strategies for Tier-1 brands.
Campaign Execution: Manage the end-to-end setup, launching, and monitoring of paid campaigns across programmatic, search, paid social, and display networks.
Content & Channel Optimization: Analyze client online presence and advise creative/content teams on how to match content distribution with the highest-performing digital channels.
Trend Advocacy: Continuous research of emerging digital media platforms, ad-tech tools, and industry trends to keep Ogilvy's media offerings cutting-edge.
2. Data Analytics, Insights & Reporting
Performance Tracking: Actively monitor and analyze core performance metrics (reach, impressions, CTR, CPC, conversion rates, and overall ROI).
Actionable Insights: Translate complex data trends into clear, actionable recommendations for internal creative and media planning teams.
Client Reporting: Formulate and deliver regular, comprehensive campaign performance dashboards and post-campaign analyses (PCAs) to client stakeholders.
3. Financial, Budget & Process Management
Financial Stewardship: Manage client media budgets strictly, executing daily pacing checks and monthly reconciliations to guarantee zero overspends or underspends.
Compliance & Workflow: Adhere strictly to internal agency financial workflows, including client onboarding, timely invoicing, and obtaining formal setup approvals.
Proof of Flight: Ensure complete campaign compliance by generating and archiving "proof of flight" documentation for all active campaigns.
Cost Efficiency: Identify opportunities for cost-control and programmatic optimization to drive maximum financial efficiency for both the client and the agency.
4. Stakeholder & Project Management
Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary technical point of contact for daily media queries, collaborating directly with Creative, Content, and Digital PR teams to align media spend with brand messaging.
Timeline Management: Oversee the campaign lifecycle from brief to final reporting, ensuring all deliverables meet strict agency standards and client deadlines.
HOW YOUR SUCCESS WILL BE MEASURED (KPIs)
Campaign ROI/ROAS: Meeting or exceeding client performance benchmarks.
Budget Accuracy: Delivering campaigns with 100% budget utilization (0% overspend/underspend).
Reporting Timeliness: Delivery of weekly, monthly, and post-campaign reports within agreed SLAs.
Process Compliance: Flawless execution of internal financial setup approvals and "proof of flight" collection.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Business, or a closely related field.
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in digital media planning, media buying, or a dedicated performance marketing role (agency experience highly preferred).
Technical & Platform Knowledge
Creative Tools: Mandatory proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator for ad format adjustments) and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel is a must).
CMS & CRM: Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (preferably WordPress ) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) workflows.
Email & Social Analytics: Solid understanding of email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp, EveryAction) and native social media analytics dashboards (Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics 4, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
Soft Skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting data to senior client stakeholders.
Sharp analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills with obsessive attention to detail.
Proven ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and navigate a fast-paced agency environment.
A collaborative mindset with previous exposure to communications management.
ARE YOU AN "OGILVY" FIT?
Our culture is defined by seven core operational beliefs. We look for candidates who embody these values:
Continuous Growth: You actively seek "regular OS upgrades"—constantly upskilling to stay ahead of the digital curve.
Hands-On Execution: You believe in "more cows than milkmen." You contribute to the work hands-on before managing or commenting on it.
Data + Creativity: You believe that the ultimate creative solutions are powered by the holy trinity of Data, Content, and Tech.
Inclusive Mindset: You value diversity as a competitive advantage and thrive in multicultural environments.
Radical Collaboration: You prefer collaborative advantages over isolated competitive advantages.
The Team First: You are a "Team Individual"—you prioritize collective success over individual credit.
Intrapreneurial Spirit: You are not afraid to "fail often, fail fast," piloting new ideas and learning quickly from setbacks.
