The Digital Merchandising Specialist role supports the planning, execution, quality assurance, and optimization of promotional content across 7NOW and 3rd party marketplace digital experiences. This role translates merchandising and promotional strategies into accurate, timely customer-facing experiences across app and web placements, including homepage banners, deal tiles, offer pages, and push notifications.

The specialist serves as a day-to-day coordinator across Digital Merchandising, category teams, CRM/7Rewards, n-House Creative Agency, Catalog, Technology, Operations, and CPG vendors to ensure offers launch on time, display correctly, and meet business and customer requirements.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES :

· Act as a central point for coordination of the digital merchandising team’s promotion and marketing requests.

• •Execute the digital 7-Eleven sales plan holistically, inclusive of planning, offer setup, and validation.
• •Craft the 7NOW CRM calendar with offer inputs from digital category owners, vendors, CRM, and internal stakeholders to drive new customer acquisition, sales growth, and a consistent customer experience.
• •Maintain and coordinate the 7NOW in-app placement plans and 7NOW in-flight promotional trackers.
• •Translate promotional ideas into digital marketing briefs, including offer copy, products to feature, promotional dates, target audience, quantity limits, promo codes, legal language, deeplinks, and store or geographic eligibility.
• •Coordinate recurring promotional updates and new offer requests across seasonal, event-based, category, Gold Pass, and basket-level promotions.
• •Track offer status from request through creative development, review, approval, launch, and final completion.
• •Review and validate homepage banners, deal tiles, offer placements, push notifications, and related digital content before launch.
• •Review creative proofs and final assets, document revisions, and coordinate corrections with Marketing, CRM, Catalog, and Technology partners.
• •Identify and resolve issues involving promo IDs, item or SLIN lists, store lists, location filters, offer setup, timing, or customer eligibility. Triage may require after-hours support as needed.
• •Maintain organized source files, workbooks, creative references, store lists, and historical promotional records.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 3+ years

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :

• •Experience with a retail, delivery, marketplace, mobile-app, or omnichannel commerce business.
• •Experience with a content management system, promotional platform, offer-management tool, or digital asset workflow.
• •Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• •Detail oriented to accurately maintain a deep level of content day to day
• •Strong communication and cross-functional skills
• •Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• •Proficient in basic analytics
