As our Director, Client Delivery, you will lead the delivery of Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s (HPE) global events and hospitality portfolio, serving as a strategic advisor to the client and providing end-to-end ownership of complex, high-visibility programs. You will be responsible for guiding initiatives from strategy and planning through execution, ensuring every experience aligns with HPE's business objectives and reflects the highest standards of operational excellence.
In addition to driving program success, you will cultivate team growth, mentor direct reports, and lead cross-functional teams throughout the execution journey. By partnering closely with GMR's network of subject matter experts, you will champion internal alignment, innovation, and collaboration to deliver exceptional results for one of the agency's most important client relationships.
TEAM DESCRIPTION

REQUIRED SKILLS
End-to-End Hospitality Management: You have a proven track record in B2B corporate hospitality and global event management. You’ll direct the strategic planning and flawless execution of global hospitality programs, managing end-to-end logistics including itineraries, accommodations, international transport, ticketing, and accreditation. You’ll cultivate and manage key global vendor partnerships, negotiating contracts and enforcing rigorous quality-assurance benchmarks.
Guest Experience & Logistics Experience: You’ll oversee guest registration, VIP communications, food and beverage operations, curated cultural itineraries, customized gifting programs, and onsite staffing. You’ll manage complex, multi-currency program budgets, driving financial accuracy across Statements of Work (SOWs), invoicing, tracking, and final reconciliation
Executive Client Leadership: You’ll serve as the primary partner for senior-level clients, leading status meetings and delivering high-impact executive presentations. You have exceptional interpersonal capabilities with a demonstrated ability to advise, manage, and retain high-value clients.
Team Leadership & Talent Development: You have demonstrated success leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams. You have the proven ability to foster strong team culture, provide effective coaching and feedback, and support employees' professional growth while maintaining exceptional client service standards. You will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing account team by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth. You’ll provide ongoing coaching, career development guidance, and performance feedback while creating an inclusive, supportive environment where team members feel empowered, valued, and positioned for long-term success.
Self-Starter. You’re self-motivated, solutions-oriented leader who excels in fast-paced, fluid environments by rapidly mastering complex new systems.
Operational Excellence. You’ll maintain deep mastery of client brand ecosystems, sponsorship integrations, and emerging VIP hospitality trends to continually innovate the guest experience. You’ll implement standardized, scalable execution frameworks, utilizing advanced project plans, detailed timelines, and structured administrative tracking.
Collaboration . You are comfortable collaborating with multiple internal teams and external partners to deliver unforgettable experiences. You can build strong working relationships with clients, partner agencies, and internal teams to collaborate on the development and execution of client programs. You’ll orchestrate internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) resource groups, including creative, digital, procurement, finance, logistics, and global operations teams.
Travel. You have full authorization and readiness to travel internationally for site inspections and extended onsite execution periods of up to 90 days.
The annual range for this role varies between $90K- $110K and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401k, employee stock purchase plan, vacation, personal days and paid holiday time. You are also eligible to participate in disability, life insurance, FSA/HSA plans subject to the terms and conditions of such benefit plans.
