- Success in this role requires a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset. You will identify market opportunities, shape strategic priorities, drive execution against business objectives, and ensure Northern Europe operates with a clear, integrated commercial agenda across the full CNPF portfolio.
- You will work closely with Country Managers, Account Managers, Customer Solutions Architects, Product Leads, and regional and global stakeholders to ensure Mastercard presents one coordinated face to the market and delivers against ambitious growth targets.
- What You'll Do
- Lead the Northern Europe CNPF Growth Agenda
- Partner and drive the commercial growth strategy for Commercial & New Payment Flows across Northern Europe, ensuring strong alignment between market opportunities, customer needs, and Mastercard's strategic priorities.
- Create One Integrated Divisional Agenda

- Drive alignment across local, regional, and global stakeholders to ensure CNPF in Northern Europe operates as one team with a clear, coordinated storyline and execution plan.
- Drive Business Development and Commercial Outcomes
- Partner to identify new growth opportunities, build commercial strategies, and accelerate adoption of Mastercard's CNPF solutions across issuers, fintechs, corporates, and ecosystem partners.
- Maintain focus on delivering business outcomes, including revenue, volume, pipeline, and strategic growth objectives.
- Partner Across the Organization
- Build strong partnerships with Country Managers, Account Managers, local product teams, and regional and global CNPF stakeholders.
- Lead through influence, creating alignment across a matrixed organization and ensuring priorities are translated into action.

- Support key customer engagements by developing compelling commercial narratives, growth opportunities, market strategies, and executive-level recommendations.
- Help position Mastercard as the partner of choice for customers navigating the evolution of commercial and business payments.
- Ensure Execution Excellence
- Establish governance, operating rhythms, and performance management processes that keep initiatives on track and ensure delivery against annual objectives.
- Monitor progress against KPIs and proactively address barriers to execution.
- Provide Market Leadership
- Stay ahead of emerging market trends, competitive developments, regulatory changes, and customer needs.
- Translate market insights into actionable opportunities that strengthen Mastercard's position across Corporate & New Payment Flows.
- All About You
- You are a commercially minded leader who combines strategic thinking with a strong bias for action. You are comfortable operating in complex environments, building alignment across diverse stakeholders, and driving growth through partnerships and influence.
- You likely bring:
- 8+ years of experience in payments, banking, fintech, transaction banking, corporate payments, management consulting, or a related field.
- A strong understanding of commercial payments and new payment flows, including B2B payments, commercial cards, corporate solutions, transit, embedded finance, account-to-account payments, or related areas.

- A structured, analytical approach to problem solving and strategic planning.
- Experience creating executive-level narratives, business cases, and growth strategies.
- The ability to navigate ambiguity, set direction, and mobilize stakeholders without direct authority.
- Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills across local, regional, and global organizations.
- Strong communication and presentation capabilities, including interactions with senior executives and external customers.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Fluency in English.
- Preferred Experience

- Exposure to Mastercard's Commercial & New Payment Flows solutions and ecosystem.
- Experience operating in international and highly matrixed organizations.
- Track record of leading cross-functional strategic initiatives from concept to execution.
- Why Join Mastercard?
- This is an opportunity to lead one of Mastercard's most important growth agendas in Northern Europe.
- You will help shape the future of commercial payments, influence strategic priorities across multiple markets, and work with senior leaders across Mastercard's regional and global organization. The role offers a unique combination of strategy, business development, market leadership, and execution, with the opportunity to create meaningful impact for our customers, partners, and Mastercard's long-term growth ambitions.
