Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY

Provides strategic leadership over consumer marketing programs that drive brand awareness, demand generation, and revenue growth across channels. Building upon the tactical and executional foundation of Consumer Marketing leadership, this role owns marketing strategy execution at a broader portfolio and organizational level, leads teams and resources, and partners with senior leaders across Sales, Product Management, and other functions to advance business objectives.

This role is accountable for translating consumer insights, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence into integrated marketing strategies and scalable programs.

Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct the development and execution of consumer marketing strategies for new and existing products, platforms, and programs.

Oversee integrated marketing campaigns across channels, including digital, advertising, promotions, events, and public relations.

Apply consumer insights, market research, economic indicators, and competitive analysis to inform strategy and investment decisions.

Partner with Sales and Product Management to support go‑to‑market initiatives, retail and channel readiness, and revenue objectives.

Provide leadership and direction to consumer marketing teams, guiding priorities, execution, and performance through managers and senior professionals.

Lead development of marketing materials, messaging, and communications to ensure consistent brand positioning and customer engagement.

Establish performance metrics, monitor campaign effectiveness, and drive optimization to improve return on investment.

Manage marketing budgets, resources, and external partners to ensure efficient and effective program delivery.

Support functional and organizational planning by contributing marketing expertise and recommendations to senior leadership.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Certification / Licensure

Work Experience

8–12 years of progressive marketing experience, including significant consumer marketing responsibility.

At least 5 years demonstrated experience leading managers or teams and overseeing complex, multi‑channel marketing programs.

Experience partnering cross‑functionally to support revenue growth, product launches, and brand initiatives.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Strong understanding of consumer behavior, segmentation, positioning, and multichannel marketing strategies.

Experience using data, insights, and analytics to guide marketing decisions and measure outcomes.

Proven leadership and influence skills in matrixed environments.

Ability to balance strategic direction with operational execution through others.

PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Certification / Licensure

Work Experience

Experience leading marketing strategies across multiple product lines, divisions, or market segments.

Experience operating in complex, consumer‑driven or multi‑channel organizations.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Advanced experience with digital marketing ecosystems, social media strategies, and performance analytics.

Broad business acumen with strong understanding of how consumer marketing drives enterprise results.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$154,000.00 - $231,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Our benefit package includes health insurance, life and disability, 401(k) contributions, paid time off, etc., for employees working 30 or more hours per week on average. For roles where employees work less than 30 hours per week, benefits include 401(k) contributions, paid time off, as well as access to the Employee Assistance Program, Employee Resource Groups and the Employee Service Corp.
