Director Data Stewardship and Commercial Solutions

Job Description:

The Director, Data Stewardship and Commercial Solutions leads a team of professionals responsible for building, developing, and managing products that support the Commercial organization. The team is focused on AI-enabled solutions that support Category Management, Sourcing & Contracting, Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA), Sustainability, and Centers of Excellence (COE). This role is responsible for developing, communicating, and executing the Commercial digital strategy, advancing data stewardship and governance practices, and promoting data literacy and capability building across the organization.

Required

• •Bachelor's degree.
• •8+ years of experience in data, digital, analytics, technology, or related business functions.
• •Experience leading teams responsible for digital products, data, or business solutions.
• •Experience developing and executing digital or data strategies.
• •Experience with data governance, stewardship, and quality management.

Preferred

• •Experience supporting AI-enabled products or solutions.
• •Experience supporting Commercial, Category Management, Sourcing & Contracting, Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA), Sustainability, or Centers of Excellence (COE).
• •Experience working with global teams.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• •Digital Strategy: Develop, communicate, and execute the digital strategy for the Commercial organization. Partner with Mars Global Services, Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA), Sustainability, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure a comprehensive roadmap.
• •Governance Strategy & Quality Framework: Establish and execute governance and quality frameworks for Commercial-owned data domains, including master and transactional data. Define policies and metrics to drive continuous improvement in data integrity and compliance.
• •Data Stewardship: Serve as a primary data steward for the Commercial function alongside MGS Commercial, embedding a culture of data accountability. Collaborate with data stewards in other functions to ensure Commercial requirements are considered for critical data domains consumed by, but not owned by, the function.
• •Data Literacy & Capability Building: Champion data literacy and best practices across the Commercial organization, partnering with the central Data & Analytics team to align on enterprise tools and ensure data is effectively leveraged to support digital solutions and strategic decision-making.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 192,560.00 - USD 264,770.00
