Job Title

Director, Enterprise Supply Chain Transformation

Job Description

The Director, Enterprise Supply Chain Transformation is accountable for shaping and delivering a global transformation agenda that improves how Philips plans, makes, moves, and services products. The role connects business process redesign with enterprise technology, data, and analytics so that transformation delivers measurable improvements in supply chain reliability, agility, productivity, and user experience.

This leader translates strategy into an integrated roadmap across process, organization, information, and systems. Working across Integrated Supply Chain, business units, markets, Digital and IT, Finance, Quality, Procurement, and Operations, the Director establishes common ways of working while allowing fit-for-purpose local execution where it creates value.

In this role you have the opportunity to:

  • Set the enterprise direction for supply chain transformation and build a culture of process excellence, data discipline, adoption, and continuous improvement.
  • Bring business and technology leaders together around a shared transformation roadmap, clear outcomes, and disciplined investment choices.
  • Create scalable capabilities across planning, supply, inventory, manufacturing, service parts, analytics, and related end-to-end value streams.
  • Help Philips realize better patient and customer outcomes by making the supply chain more resilient, transparent, and responsive.

Your role:

Enterprise transformation strategy: Define and maintain a multi-year transformation strategy and roadmap that aligns business priorities, process maturity, technology enablement, investment capacity, and value realization.

End-to-end process transformation: Lead the design and standardization of integrated supply chain processes, including planning, S&OP or IBP, demand and supply planning, inventory, production, distribution, service parts, and performance management. Establish clear process ownership, decision rights, controls, and global design principles.

Enterprise systems and architecture: Partner with Digital and IT to shape the technology roadmap and solution architecture across ERP, planning, workflow, data, analytics, and integration platforms. Ensure systems support the target operating model, scalable data foundations, security, quality, and responsible use of advanced analytics and AI.

Portfolio governance and delivery: Lead governance for a complex transformation portfolio, including prioritization, sequencing, dependencies, risks, resourcing, decision forums, and executive escalation. Translate complex issues into clear choices and enable timely decisions.

Deployment readiness and adoption: Ensure that process validation, data and integration readiness, testing, cutover, training, communications, business readiness, stabilization, and continuous improvement are built into every major release or deployment.

Value realization: Define outcome-based KPIs and benefit cases, track adoption and operational performance, and use evidence to adjust priorities. Connect transformation measures to supply chain reliability, service, inventory, cost, cash, speed, compliance, and user experience.

Leadership and capability building: Build a high-performing transformation community across process owners, product and solution teams, data and analytics leaders, deployment leads, and business stakeholders. Develop talent and create communities of practice that sustain new capabilities after implementation.

You are a part of the global Integrated Supply Chain and Digital and IT leadership community. You will work through a network of business process owners, product and solution leaders, enterprise architects, data and analytics specialists, regional deployment teams, and senior stakeholders across Philips businesses and functions.

The role is expected to lead through influence as well as through direct accountability. Success depends on creating alignment across different businesses, markets, functions, and technology teams while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, quality, compliance, and sustainable value creation.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, information technology, business, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Typically 12 or more years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, enterprise transformation, digital transformation, or a related discipline, including significant experience leading global programs or teams .
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex business process and technology transformations across multiple business units, functions, countries, or markets.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and how they are enabled by ERP, advanced planning, data, integration, analytics, and workflow technologies. Experience with SAP or comparable enterprise platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Strong portfolio, program, and change leadership skills, including governance, risk and dependency management, business readiness, adoption, cutover, stabilization, and benefit tracking.
  • Ability to engage credibly with senior executives, process owners, architects, technology leaders, and operational teams; simplify complexity and build alignment without relying on formal authority.
  • Experience in a regulated, quality-sensitive, manufacturing, healthcare, or medical technology environment is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures and time zones.
  • Experience with Blue Yonder implementation.
  • Consulting experience.
  • Compensation & benefits
  • Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The annual base salary range for this role is €93.049,00–€155.081,00. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.
  • This role is eligible for 3% short term incentive with your rewards linked to both individual performance and company results. We’ll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision. Benefits include hybrid working, paid time-off, health and wellbeing benefits, learning and development opportunities.
  • How we work together
  • We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
