Director, Global Strategy - Enterprise Planning

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Director of Global Enterprise Planning on the Strategy team, you architect the planning system that connects Arc’teryx’s long-term strategy to annual priorities, resource allocation, and performance accountability. This is a systems-level role: you own the infrastructure that keeps leadership aligned, decisions grounded, and execution honest.

You own the enterprise planning process end-to-end – Strategic Planning Kickoff, Long-term Strategic Planning, AOP/budget prioritization, and Quarterly Business Reporting – while also owning the broader operating infrastructure: Excom and Board of Directors preparation, the strategic calendar, and the decision frameworks that ensure the right conversations happen with the right information at the right time.

You bring both architectural thinking and executional precision. You know when to build a new system and when to simplify an existing one. You are a credible executive partner, comfortable working directly with functional leaders and Finance to drive planning rigour across a complex, global business.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid work (or remote Canada with travels to North Vancouver, BC). Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The Strategy team is a trusted partner to the executive leadership team in the development, prioritization, and oversight of our company strategies working cross-functionally across the business to ensure attainment of our long-term strategic objectives and goals. We provide strategic insights and frameworks to enable strategy development, cross-functional alignment and executive decision making. We are experts at translating complex, unstructured problems into clear executive level narrative and recommendations. Our team leads the company’s long-range strategic planning process, quarterly business reviews, and the development of an integrated performance management framework to connect our strategy to our annual operating budget and tactical operating plan.
