Description

Hubbard House seeks an experienced Director of Development to achieve the agency’s fundraising and objectives. The Director of Development will identify and cultivate relationships with prospective donors. They will work with staff leadership and the development team to execute fundraising initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, at least five years of experience with donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship, and at one year with supervisory experience preferred. Major gift, planned giving, and/or campaign experience preferred. They will have experience in fundraising best practices and with donor databases, preferably The Raiser’s Edge, in managing donor and solicitation records. The position requires a clear communicator, both verbal and written, and a self-starter with high standards around work ethic, collaboration, organization, and detail.

Hubbard House was founded as the first domestic violence shelter in Florida and is the certified domestic violence center serving Duval and Baker counties in Northeast Florida. Hubbard House has 50 years of experience serving victims of domestic violence through residential and outreach programs. Hubbard House has an annual operating budget of $10 million and a healthy endowment. Annually, Hubbard House serves approximately 5,000 women, children and men.
