Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Risk Director for Brazil, in São Paulo (hybrid) to join our ever evolving Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team and help shape the future of global commerce.

What you’ll own

As the Risk Director for our Brazil operations, you will be the primary responsible for all Enterprise Risk matters, representing Worldpay’s ERM team locally. Your expertise will be crucial in embedding risk accountability into business operations and supporting strategic objectives, ensuring they are achieved in a responsible and sustainable way. You’ll lead key initiatives, work closely with stakeholders across our LATAM entities and globally, playing a pivotal role in identifying and mitigating risk.

Significant activities include:

Partner with key stakeholders to address complex, country-specific issues, balancing risk and rewards, in decision-making.

Communicate professionally with executive and senior leaders, providing clear insights and recommendations, and with the local regulator as required, for risk management topics.

Apply sound judgement in assessing potential risks, operating within the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Monitor and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders, serving as a trusted escalation point.

Present risk assessment results to Brazil Board and other key governance forums.

What you’ll bring

Proven experience with risk management practices, including risk and controls evaluation.

Experience preparing and delivering executive-level reports.

Knowledge of local regulatory risk management requirements

Strong understanding of local risk management requirements across Brazil.

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.

Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.

Strong work ethic, sense of ownership, and accountability.

Creative problem-solving abilities aligned with business objectives.

It’s a bonus if you have

Knowledge of merchants acquiring services and/or financial system.

  • Understanding of local risk management requirements across other LATAM jurisdictions.
  • Fluent English and Spanish.
