Serve as senior owner of trade compliance for equipment sourcing.

Manage commodity risk (steel, copper, aluminum, etc.), advising on forward cost curves and budgetary impacts.

Ensure supply continuity through prequalification, supplier financial-health monitoring, allocation management, and contingency planning.

Planning, logistics & execution

Ensure effective scheduling, tracking, and delivery of owner furnished equipment to meet construction timelines, including inventory, warehousing, staging, and laydown coordination.

Coordinate quality and factory acceptance testing (FAT)/source inspection and non-conformance resolution with Engineering.

Integrate procurement schedules and specifications into RFPs and EPC subcontracts, in partnership with the delivery teams.

Leadership & team development

Mentor, and develop the supply chain team and build the processes and governance that scale the function.

Qualifications:

6-8 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain, including demonstrated people-leadership (leading a team and/or developing other managers) and portfolio- or program-scale ownership.

Experience in renewables, power, construction, infrastructure, or a related industry; utility-scale solar or renewables strongly preferred.

Proven track record negotiating complex commercial transactions and long-term/master agreements, with emphasis on cost control, risk management, and supplier performance.

Experience with EPC contracts and logistics coordination for major equipment.

Trade-compliance depth relevant to solar: UFLPA/traceability, customs, and domestic content strategy for the ITC.

Strong financial acumen for pricing trends, commodity fluctuations, TCO/should-cost, budget ownership, and supply-chain risk.
