Dishwasher

Job Description:

IHOP is seeking a diligent and efficient Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen and dining areas.

Job Responsibilities

• * Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment, including dishwashers and sanitizers.
• * Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils.
• * Load and unload dish racks, ensuring proper stacking and storage of clean items.
• * Wash and sanitize all kitchen equipment, including cutting boards, mixers, and cooking surfaces.
• * Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and shelving.
• * Assist with general kitchen cleaning tasks as needed, such as sweeping, mopping, and taking out trash.
• * Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• * Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• * Support kitchen staff as required to ensure smooth operations.

Job Qualifications

• * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• * Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• * Basic understanding of kitchen sanitation practices.
• * Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• * Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
