POSITION SUMMARY

The Dishwasher plays a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents by ensuring a clean dining room environment. This team member supports the servers and kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness and order in the dining areas of our senior living community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, including floors and service stations.
Clean dishes in a timely and restock service stations
Operate commercial dishwashing machines properly and safely
Support overall dining room operations and communicate resident needs to servers or supervisors.
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Provide friendly and respectful service to all residents, guests, and staff.

Requirements

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

Education and certificates:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is a plus, but not required.

Experience, Competencies, and Skills:

No experience necessary – entry-level welcome.
Previous experience in a hospitality or dining environment is a plus.
A positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with seniors.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
