We are currently looking for a Dispatcher who will join our team based in Vado Ligure and will be hired to work on shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• •To ensure that all operations are executed in accordance to the priorities set by the Shift Manager,
• •To report any problem in operations and to implement the agreed changes to solve the problems;
• •To ensure the optimum utilization of all equipment;
• •To ensure smooth and speedy movement of containers to and/or from rail siding and external road traffic vehicles transfer area;
• •To update the system with equipment identification on a continual basis;
• •To monitors the dispatch queues to identify potential clashes and delays in the yard;
• •To manually dispatche work instructions that are not in an automatic dispatch queue;
• •Responsible to elaborate reports requested by the management;

We're looking for

• •High school diploma and a college degree in Logistics, Operations Management, or related discipline;
• •Italian at mothertoungue level, proficiency with English language
• •Lean-minded: we are looking for someone who brings a strong mindset of continuous improvement – someone who is naturally curious, committed to solving problems at the root, and driven to make things better every day.
• •In depth knowledge of logistics, yard planning/lay-out and container terminal operations;
• •Effective analytical, numeracy, reporting and problem-solving skills;
• •Proactive approach to improve systems and procedures that will lead to operational efficiency;
• •High level of planning and organizational skills;
• •Able to work in a team
• •IT skills
• •Flexibility
• •Accuracy

Job location: Vado Ligure, no relocation or VISA support provided.
