Job Overview

Docketly is hiring a results-driven Recruiting Manager to lead a team of 7-10 recruiters in a high-volume legal staffing environment. This role drives performance, ensures accountability to KPIs, and develops recruiters to consistently meet production, quality, and margin goals.

You will lead from the front. You know what it takes to source, pitch, negotiate, and close attorneys, and you can turn those skills into repeatable systems that help your team hit its number every month.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Performance

Lead and manage a team of high-volume recruiters, ensuring strong daily performance.

Run daily stand-ups and performance reviews to maintain accountability.

Coach recruiters on pipeline management, speed, candidate quality, and real-time performance.

Develop top performers and address underperformance quickly.

Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and measurable results.

Production & KPI Ownership

Drive production across coverage, scheduling, and fulfillment metrics.

Own and track KPIs including placements, coverage, margin (36%+), and loss prevention.

Monitor losses, drops, and margin adherence to meet company standards.

Enforce approval processes for cancellations and losses.

Set, track, and execute team and individual OKRs.

Analyze reporting data to identify trends, risks, and performance gaps, and implement corrective action plans.

Recruiting & Inside Sales Execution

Oversee full-cycle attorney recruiting: intake, sourcing, screening, pitching, negotiation, and close.

Coach the team on sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter, bar association directories, referrals, and other channels, as well as cold outreach, objection handling, and closing.

Build and maintain a growing network of attorney relationships and referral sources for current and future coverage needs.

Translate proven recruiting and sales tactics into scalable best practices across the team.

Ensure activity, candidate status, and outcomes are logged accurately in the ATS/CRM.

Strategy, Process & Cross-Functional Partnership

Partner with senior leadership on staffing forecasts and coverage strategy.

Improve and scale recruiting processes for efficiency and consistency.

Manage escalations professionally, using sound judgment and solution-oriented decision making.

Collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, and Account Management teams.

Qualifications

Required

5+ years of recruiting or staffing experience, including 2+ years leading teams in a high-volume environment.

Proven track record of meeting aggressive production targets.

Experience coaching recruiters to improve performance and output.

Strong understanding of staffing metrics, margins, and loss prevention.

Data-driven, with experience using KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools.

Hands-on recruiting experience, including sourcing your own candidates and high-volume outbound calling and cold outreach.

Strong negotiation and closing skills, including objection handling.

Proficiency with an ATS/CRM and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, etc.).

Comfortable in high-accountability, fast-paced environments.

Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of ownership.

Ability to balance speed and quality.

Experience developing talent and building team strength.

Clear, direct communicator with a focus on results.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred

Experience recruiting attorneys or other licensed professionals, ideally for legal roles at scale.

Background in agency recruiting or RPO where you owned a desk end-to-end.

Familiarity with legal industry credentialing, bar admission requirements, or practice-area nuances.

  • Salary Range: $68,000-$90,000 (depends on experience)
