Job Description

The Project

ACCIONA has been selected to deliver Western Harbour Tunnel – Stage 2, Sydney’s third harbour crossing. The new Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) will connect to WestConnex at the Rozelle Interchange, cross underneath Sydney Harbour between Birchgrove and Waverton, and connect with the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney.

Project scope includes:

• •Construction of approximately 4.8 kilometres of mainline tunnels with three lanes in each direction
• •Civil, Mechanical and Electrical fitout of Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunnels
• •Surface level work, including on and off ramps and tie-in work to the Warringah Freeway

As the Document controller, you will control all drawings, specifications, plans, procedures, correspondence, and reports to ensure only current and authorised versions are used. You will ensure all relevant data, systems records, and documentation are integrated and accessible in a timely and consistent manner.

Specific Tasks Include

• •Support stakeholders in document management and document control systems.
• •Verify receipt of all incoming documents against accompanying transmittals.
• •Maintain secure document storage of permits, contracts, and project documentation.
• •Record, check and track all incoming and outgoing project documents.
• •Provide software training, guidance, assistance, and configuration.
• •Conduct audits of document management systems and records

Required Skills and Competencies

Qualifications and Experience

• •Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others with strong collaboration and communication skills
• •Proficient with MS Office - specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
• •Experience in various Electronic Document Management Systems
• •Demonstrated ability to work independently to organize and prioritize demands
• •Must be energetic with a positive can-do attitude
