Driver

Description

We are seeking a dependable and versatile individual to serve as both a Driver for Events and a Facilities Support . This hybrid role involves transporting event equipment and staff to various locations, and during non-driving hours, performing maintenance and facility support tasks. The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, and has both technical skills and a strong service orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

As Event Driver:

• •Safely transport event equipment, supplies, and personnel to and from event venues.
• •Load and unload vehicles efficiently, ensuring all items are secured properly.
• •Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct regular safety checks.
• •Coordinate with the events team to ensure timely deliveries aligned with setup and breakdown schedules.
• •Provide on-site support during events as needed (e.g., helping with setup/teardown).

As Facilities Support (During Downtime):

• •Perform general building maintenance tasks including minor electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry work
• •Respond to facility service requests and troubleshoot building issues.
• •Support general repairs and upkeep of the facility, including lighting, minor carpentry, and painting.
• •Help maintain a clean and organized parking lot and warehouse which includes storage, staging, and the pickleball area.
• •Ensure building systems operate efficiently and safely, complying with all safety standards and regulations.

Requirements

• •Valid TX Driver’s License with a clean driving record and held for at least 5 years.
• •2+ years of experience in a facilities or maintenance role.
• •Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• •Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• •Excellent time management and communication skills.
• •Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on event schedules.
• •Ability to drive the company truck and pull a trailer.

Preferred Skills:

• •Familiarity with event logistics and equipment.
• •Forklift or equipment handling certification is a plus.
