Driver / Warehouse Associate

Description

The Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely transporting products to customers, vendors, and company locations while supporting daily warehouse operations. This position requires a dependable individual who can efficiently perform deliveries, receive and stock inventory, maintain an organized warehouse, and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

Driving & Delivery

• •Safely operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up products, materials, and equipment.
• •Verify delivery loads for accuracy before departure.
• •Load and unload products using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
• •Obtain delivery confirmations and maintain accurate delivery records.
• •Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• •Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.

Warehouse Operations

• •Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
• •Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• •Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment or delivery.
• •Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
• •Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• •Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
• •Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed.

General Responsibilities

• •Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• •Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, customers, and vendors.
• •Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
• •Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers.

Qualifications

• •High school diploma or GED preferred.
• •Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• •Previous driving, delivery, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
• •Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain certification).
• •Basic computer and inventory management skills preferred.
• •Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• •Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• •Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday.
• •Ability to load and unload products and materials.
• •Ability to work in varying warehouse and outdoor conditions.
