Your Impact

Cisco Webex helps people and businesses across the entire world to connect and collaborate. As a member of the Webex media team, your work will ensure that every person using our products receives a truly immersive experience, regardless of their device or location.

On a day-to-day basis, this role involves:

• •Bringing to life new software functionality based on product requirements.
• •Performing peer code reviews and automating all development chores.
• •Participating in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, planning, release, and retrospective meetings.
• •Broadening your technical and soft skills with the help of our comprehensive training programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• •1+ years of professional software development experience and a BSc (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• •Proficiency in C/C++ or Rust with strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• •Uses AI responsibly to accelerate development.

Preferred qualifications

• •Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• •Knowledge of WebRTC/ SIP protocols
• •Experience with reviewing AI-generated code
• •Experience steering AI effectively via context and prompt design.
• •Collaborative and eager to learn.
