To thrive as a Foreperson, EH&S, you’ll bring energy, guidance, and a passion for safety and learning to drive impactful training and continuous improvement across operations! This role fosters a culture where safety, compliance, and development are at the forefront - supporting both new hires and tenured employees with engaging, hands-on training experiences.
In this role, you will lead safety and operational training initiatives, manage compliance programs, and partner across teams to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-performing environment. You’ll play a key role in maintaining regulatory standards, driving continuous improvement efforts, and empowering employees with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed every day.
Here's what we’re looking for :
A completed high school education is required; education in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Operations is preferred
2 years of experience in safety roles (e.g., EHS Technician, Safety Coordinator, or similar roles in manufacturing or warehouse environments)
Experience in troubleshooting and solving problems involving routine operation and maintenance of the bailing, labeling and sticker machines.
Strong understanding of safety, environmental, and DOT regulations, with hands-on application experience
Proven ability to lead training programs in both classroom and manufacturing environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage teams
Proficiency in systems and data management (SAP experience preferred) and strong computer skills
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and operational issues, ensuring efficient and safe performance
Detail-oriented mindset with experience managing SOPs, JHAs, audits, and compliance documentation
Here is What We Offer You:
Team members will receive a $0.50/hr increase at 6 months of employment and a $0.50/hr increase at one year of employment.
Any shift that starts from 12 PM or later (off-shifts) also receives a $3/hr shift differential.
Quarterly and holiday bonuses are available.
Accrue 15 paid days of vacation time off the first year plus 5 days of sick time off.
401(k) retirement plan with 4% match. Annual retirement profit-sharing payments
