Job Summary



 To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr. Environmental Health & Safety Manager located in Aguascalientes.

Reporting to the EH&S Director, Environmental Health & Safety Manager role involves in charge of providing immediate supervision to a group of employees for the implementation of complex activities related to the efficient management of Environmental Health & Safety programs in offices and manufacturing sites to ensure that the required company and government standards and regulations are met.

What a typical day looks like:

• •Manage, through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs in offices, manufacturing sites, and plants with control results in terms of costs, methods, and employees.
• •Develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance requirements.
• •Conduct meetings involving environmental safety, training, and awareness programs.
• •Oversee proper maintenance of buildings, furniture and fixtures in accordance with federal, state and local regulations.
• •Provide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance and act as advisor to unit, or sub-units and get involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems.
• •Establish and recommend changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s).
• •Interact frequently with subordinate supervisors, customers and/or functional peer group managers.
• •Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc.
• •Manage budget and schedule for moderately complex EH&S activities, including costs of contract labor, equipment, and materials.
• •Train staff on any changes to policy and procedures.
• •Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• •BA/BS or equivalent work experience
• •Fluent English
• •Experience in similar position or related experience
• •Experience in EH&S and knowledge of related regulations, codes, and guidelines
• •Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively develop and drive initiatives.
• •Ability to communicate and demonstrate technical expertise with internal and external customers.
• •Experience in metal mechanics industry
• •Desirable experience in machinery safety
