EHS Engineer - Halol, Gujarat

Role Purpose:

Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) systems in a pesticide/insecticide manufacturing plant, ensuring statutory compliance, process safety, environmental protection, and a safe workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• •Ensure compliance with Factory, Environment, Fire, PESO, and other applicable EHS regulations.
• •Manage legal registers, licenses, permits, renewals, and statutory submissions.
• •Conduct HIRA, JSA, Risk Assessments, HAZOP, MOC, and chemical safety reviews.
• •Implement PTW, LOTO, hot work, confined space, work-at-height, and contractor safety systems.
• •Conduct safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and CAPA tracking.
• •Ensure emergency preparedness, firefighting systems, and mock drills.
• •Monitor occupational health programs, PPE compliance, and industrial hygiene.
• •Support environmental compliance, hazardous waste management, and GPCB requirements.
• •Deliver EHS training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.
• •Prepare EHS MIS, dashboards, KPI tracking, and audit documentation.

Qualification & Experience:

• •B.E./B.Tech in Chemical, Environmental, Industrial Safety, or related discipline.
• •Diploma/PG Diploma in Industrial Safety preferred.
• •3-7 years of EHS experience in chemical, agrochemical, pesticide, pharmaceutical, or hazardous process industries.
