Key Responsibilities

1. Employee Health Management

  • Provide employee health consultations, medical assessments, first aid support, and treatment guidance for workplace and general health matters
  • Conduct onsite health checks, such as blood pressure, blood glucose, and cholesterol screening, and support health promotion activities
  • Manage and maintain employee health and medical records with strict confidentiality and appropriate data protection practices

2. Health Examinations & Follow-up

  • Coordinate and oversee annual general health examinations, special health examinations, and pre-placement or job-related medical examinations; analyze medical data and follow up on potential work-related injuries and illnesses as needed
  • Monitor examination participation, follow up with employees requiring additional care, and manage ongoing health follow-up programs
  • Provide medical consultations related to chronic disease management, work-related employee health concerns, lifestyle risk factors, mental well-being, and job stress
  • Understand medical surveillance requirements and manage company-required employee health surveillance programs
  • Support job fitness evaluations and return-to-work considerations in collaboration with HR, EHS, managers, and healthcare providers as appropriate

3. Occupational Health Program Management

  • Plan and execute occupational health programs and campaigns, including musculoskeletal disorder prevention and cardiovascular risk reduction initiatives
  • Analyze health data to establish and improve health strategies
  • Deliver employee training and health awareness initiatives

4. Incident & Case Management

  • Provide initial medical response, triage guidance, and follow-up support for workplace incidents and employee health events
  • Support work-relatedness assessment, case documentation, and reporting in relevant systems, including Gensuite where applicable
  • Support Workers’ Compensation case management and required regulatory documentation in partnership with HR, EHS, and relevant stakeholders

5. Vendor & Site Management

  • Coordinate external occupational health service providers, medical examination institutions, and related vendors
  • Monitor service quality, contract deliverables, cost effectiveness, and regulatory compliance related to health service vendors
  • Support multi-site occupational health operations, including both direct and outsourced health management arrangements

6. Compliance & Audit Support

  • Ensure occupational health activities are aligned with the Korean Occupational Safety and Health Act and applicable internal company requirements
  • Maintain required health documentation and support internal audits, external inspections, and corrective actions as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related healthcare field
  • Valid Korean registered nurse license
  • 5 -10 years of relevant experience in occupational health, employee health services, clinical nursing, or a related healthcare environment
  • Strong knowledge of Korean occupational health regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites and company locations as required

Preferred

  • Experience in multi-site health management
  • Experience working with external health service providers
  • Background in EHS or corporate health program management

Additional Information

  • This position is a fixed-term maternity and parental leave replacement role.
  • The anticipated assignment is expected to continue through June 2028. The exact start date and duration may vary depending on hiring timelines, onboarding schedules, and business needs.
  • This role is established solely to provide coverage during an employee's maternity and parental leave and is not intended for conversion to a regular permanent position.
  • Employment may end upon the return of the employee on leave or upon expiration of the fixed-term contract, whichever occurs first.
