EHS Specialist

This position will be reporting to EHS Manager

• Principal Responsibilities:
• •Responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of the environmental health and safety programs to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations
• •Assists in the development and maintenance of safety policies, procedures and employee communications regarding safety guidelines
• •Ensures that safety files and records are properly maintained
• •Assists in the submittal of all environmental compliance reports
• •Assists in the development and implementation of accident investigations, data analysis and prevention programs and procedures
• •Monitors environmental compliance and interacts with appropriate regulatory agencies
• Required Skills:
• •Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and good writing and oral communication skills
• •Minimum of 5 years related experience
• Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
• •Ability to remain in a stationary position for [INSERT]% of the time
• •Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
• •Must be able to exchange accurate information
• •The ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
