Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Overview

Responsible for site supervision and execution of electrical systems in transportation projects, ensuring compliance with design, safety standards, and project timelines.

Your role

• •Supervise electrical cable diversion, rerouting, and relocation works.
• •Ensure proper cable protection measures during construction activities.
• •Review method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, SLDs, and load schedules.
• •Coordinate new electrical assets, feeder pillars, and service terminations as per TAQA standards.
• •Manage temporary and permanent power supply for road and infrastructure utilities.
• •Oversee substation relocation, shutdown coordination, and authority approvals.
• •Supervise street lighting relocation, cable rerouting, and under-bridge lighting installations.
• •Monitor testing, commissioning, quality, and HSE compliance.

About you

• •Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• •8+ years of experience in infrastructure, utilities, roads, or transportation projects.
• •Strong experience in LV/MV/HV networks, substations, street lighting, and utility diversions.
• •Experience coordinating with utility authorities and contractors.
