Electrical Engineer, HW Asia Development Center

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical design of consumer electronic products. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast paced start-up like environment. In your lead role, you will be the owner of all aspects of EE hardware design, including circuit/board design and validation. To be successful, you need to be highly motivated and detail oriented while showing highest standards of responsibilities

• Key job responsibilities
• In this role, you will:
• - Lead the design and development of consumer electronic products from pre-concept through mass production, collaborating with ODM/OEM partners across all development stages.
• - Collaborate with PM/ID and cross functional teams to perform pre-concept study and proof of concept prototyping
• - lead the circuit design, PCB layout and validation tasks.
• - Develop and review hardware validation test plans
• - Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement design modifications throughout the product lifecycle - including prototype debug, failure analysis, design improvement.
• - Partner with software engineers on hardware-software co-development, peripheral interface definition, and board support package bring-up

Basic qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• - Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
• - At least 6+ years of experience in consumer electronics design using ARM SoC with system-level design including circuit design, system bring-up, integration, and debug
• - Experience developing robust designs for ESD/EMI immunities/RF de-sensitization with integrating RF technologies such as WIFI, BT, GPS, etc.
• - 50% travel required, English and Mandarin language skills

Preferred qualifications

• - Experience in Understanding of high speed design (LPDDR/uFS circuitry) and noise suppression technique
• - Strong interpersonal skills and capability to manage and drive various cross-functional team members
