Electrical Engineering Intern (2027)

Job Responsibilities

• •Support electrical engineering design and analysis for a variety of projects
• •Assist with the preparation of electrical plans, specifications, calculations, and construction documents
• •Participate in field investigations, site visits, and data collection activities
• •Learn and apply electrical engineering principles related to power distribution, lighting, communications, and other building or infrastructure systems
• •Support project teams with research, engineering studies, and technical documentation
• •Assist in the development of project cost estimates and material quantity takeoffs
• •Help maintain project files, records, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• •Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality

Job Requirements

• •Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university, with a minimum of two years of completed coursework. Power systems experience, coursework, or interest preferred
• •Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• •Very strong oral and written communication skills
• •Attention to detail – demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, organized, monitors own work to ensure quality, and meet deadlines
• •The ability to concentrate on complex problems for extended periods of time
• •Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• •A valid driver’s license and use of personal vehicle for travel between jobsites
• •To be able to physically perform work in the field
• •To be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, restrictions, or need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located
