Electrical Material Handler

Description

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. (SEMP) is a leading provider of skilled trade services throughout California, headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Our Operations team is seeking a Material Handler to process incoming and outgoing commercial electrical and general construction materials.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in the commercial electrical wholesale supply chain or hands-on commercial construction installation experience, along with knowledge of a variety of commercial electrical materials.

Schedule

Tuesday to Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• •Receive, store, and distribute construction materials, tools, equipment, and products
• •Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments
• •Perform physical labor to load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using appropriate equipment
• •Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
• •Perform inventory counts and replenish stock as needed
• •Deliver or retrieve materials using company vehicles as required
• •Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
• •Ensure compliance with safety regulations and department guidelines
• •Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned to support departmental operations

Requirements

• •Minimum of two years of experience in a construction environment or with an electrical wholesale supplier
• •Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly throughout the shift
• •Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and motor vehicle background check
• •English literacy required for written communication via mobile devices, email, and Microsoft Office
