Job Description:

CROWN Americas LLC is seeking a skilled Electrician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation within our facilities.

Responsibilities:

• * Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, including but not limited to motors, control panels, lighting systems, and distribution equipment, in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and local/national electrical codes.
• * Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, power outages, and equipment failures using various testing devices (e.g., multimeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes).
• * Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to identify and address potential issues before they lead to downtime.
• * Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• * Connect power to new equipment, ensuring proper grounding and safety protocols are followed.
• * Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• * Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations.
• * Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
• * Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and production teams to minimize disruption during electrical work.
• * Participate in on-call rotation for emergency electrical repairs as needed.

Qualifications:**

• * High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• * Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical systems.
• * Journeyman Electrician license is required.
• * Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a practicing Electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• * Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
• * Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• * Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems.
• * Experience with PLC systems, motor controls, and variable frequency drives (VFDs) is highly desirable.
• * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• * Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions (e.g., hot, cold, confined spaces).
• * Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
