Are you a licensed Electrician who enjoys working on complex, custom-built equipment rather than the same installation day after day? As a member of our Electrical Build team, you'll play a critical role in constructing, wiring, testing, and commissioning advanced automation systems used by manufacturers around the world. Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a full-time Licenced Electrician to lead, build, and wire electrical control panels, sub-assemblies, and automated systems using engineering packages developed by our Electrical Design team.
This role offers a balance of hands-on electrical work, technical problem-solving, project leadership, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to bring custom automation equipment from concept to reality.

What you’ll do:
Read and interpret electrical drawings, manuals, and specifications while ensuring compliance with applicable electrical codes
Build custom automation systems according to project schedules and engineering requirements
Maintain and update "as-built" drawings throughout project execution
Wire electrical control systems and panels in accordance with current electrical codes and standards
Complete system verification and startup activities, including:
Full system power-ups
Wiring and circuit troubleshooting
Motor rotation checks
Safety circuit testing
I/O testing
Switch adjustments
Collaborate with Electrical Designers and Project Developers to review machine concepts and designs
Research and evaluate products and technologies related to project requirements
Manage work effectively to support project schedules, budgets, and material requirements
Occasional travel as required globally
What you’ll need:
Licenced electrician (309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician preferred)
Minimum Diploma from 2-year Electrical Engineering Technician (Co-op) Program or 3-year Electrical Engineering Technology (Co-op) Program
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Licensed Electrician, with wiring and project lead experience
Working understanding of PLC function, wiring, motors, and drives, with basic mechanical and pneumatic fundamentals
Strong electrical and assembly knowledge of custom automation
Strong Knowledge of the Electrical Safety Code
Ability to lift weights reaching 50lbs, carry weights reaching 40lbs, and push and pull weights reaching 100-150lbs
