Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our construction team. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment on commercial, industrial, and/or construction projects. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Install electrical systems, wiring, conduit, panels, lighting, and equipment according to blueprints, specifications, and electrical codes

Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and construction documents

Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as needed

Install and terminate switches, outlets, breakers, transformers, and control systems

Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment

Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA standards and NEC codes

Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades on job sites

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition

Accurately document work performed and report project progress

Assist with material handling and inventory as needed

All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

Journeyman Electrician license preferred (if applicable by state)

Minimum of 2+ years of electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or construction environments

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC code requirements, and safety standards

Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics

Experience bending conduit and pulling wire

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel if required

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions

Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary
