Electro Mechanic

The role:

As an Electro Mechanic , you will help drive our goals by:

• •Performing preventive, scheduled and emergency maintenance on mechanical and electrical plant equipment to support safe and reliable operations.
• •Troubleshooting and repairing motors, generators, pumps, HVAC systems, power distribution equipment and control systems.
• •Diagnosing equipment faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective repairs to minimise downtime.
• •Installing, modifying and maintaining electrical wiring, conduit, controls and production equipment in line with applicable standards and procedures.
• •Reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications to complete maintenance and installation activities.
• •Supporting continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance and operational excellence.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• •Experience maintaining and troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical industrial equipment.
• •Knowledge of power distribution systems, motors, control circuits and industrial electrical systems.
• •Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automated equipment.
• •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• •Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment failures efficiently.
• •Commitment to safe working practices, including lockout/tagout procedures and working in regulated industrial environments.

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM), 3rd Shift (11:30P-7AM)
