What Your Future with Us Will Look Like Develop electronic hardware architecture, schematics, and PCB layouts for automotive traction inverters, covering logic and power electronics. Design, select, and integrate microcontrollers, SiC and IGBT power modules, gate-driver circuits, sensing, protection, power-supply, and communication interfaces. Define and optimize inverter concepts and support compliance with automotive EMC, electrical, thermal, insulation, safety, and reliability requirements. Perform design reviews, simulations, calculations, component derating, tolerance analysis, and failure-mode evaluation. Support prototype build, bring-up, verification, validation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis at component, PCB, inverter, and vehicle-system level. Translate system and customer requirements into robust hardware specifications, interfaces, and verification criteria following ASPICE processes. Coordinate technical work packages with systems, software, mechanical, thermal, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and functional-safety teams. Manage technical alignment with semiconductor manufacturers, suppliers, external development partners, and test laboratories. Support system design, technical quotations, concept studies, and acquisition activities for high-voltage electrification projects with international OEM customers. Present technical concepts, trade-offs, risks, and project status clearly to internal stakeholders, partners, and customers. What You Need to Join Us for a Future with Us Degree in electrical engineering, (power-)electronics, or comparable discipline. Several years of professional experience in automotive electronic hardware development, preferably for traction inverters, electric drives, or other high-voltage power-electronics systems. Deep knowledge of circuit design and PCB layout for mixed-signal logic and high-power electronics. Strong hands-on expertise with automotive microcontrollers, SiC MOSFET and IGBT power modules, gate drivers, and EMC input/output filters. Sound understanding of high-voltage inverter systems, switching behavior, parasitic effects, grounding, isolation, thermal interfaces, and protection concepts. Experience with schematic capture, PCB design and review, laboratory instrumentation, and hardware validation methods. System-oriented thinking and the ability to coordinate complex technical topics across organizational boundaries. Strong communication and presentation skills in an international, cross-functional environment. Professional proficiency in English; German or another relevant language is an advantage.
